The wine shows itself to be full of complexity and charm at the same time, and is suitable in any and all settings where you would normally serve a fine Pinot Noir, although it is made of 100% Gamay.
Never overpowering, beautifully aromatic, and perfectly polished, it is a Bottle Shop favorite and 2015 is a spectacular vintage.
Wafting from the glass with aromas of plums and cherries, the 2017 Beaujolais-Villages is medium to full-bodied, velvety and succulent, with lively acids, powdery tannins and a sappy core of fruit. From the steep slopes around Quincié, this is a superior and well priced Beaujolais-Villages.
