Legacy Cabernet Franc is a fascinating wine. It’s grapes were grown in 2 vineyard sites that are of mountain cool climate which has a distinct impact on the characteristics of the wine. The wine fermented naturally as a result of the yeast living on the grapes in the vineyard and in the winery. The wine matured in oak barrels for 18 months until a compete synergy of flavors was reached. This wine is characterized by the typical aromas of the variety including notes green herbs that combine with the fruit profile and soft oak influences. It’s texture is velvety and its presence remains on the palate long after drink.
