“This is the interpretation of what would be an ideal cabernet according to Terrazas. And it’s made up of 60% vineyards in Perdriel, in Luján de Cuyo, and 40% from Altamira. According to winemaker Marco Fernández, Perdriel offers flavors of ripe fruit, without pyrazines, without the herbal side.
Just fruit. Meanwhile, Altamira offers those more structured tannins and that typical mountain acidity. The result of this combination is an intense cabernet with herbal and fruity aromas, all in a context of freshness and intensity. This is a red with long flavors and linear tannins. One of the vintage’s great cabernets.
