The fourth release in The Lakes Distillery’s Whiskymaker’s Reserve series has been matured in a combination of oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, as well as ex-red wine casks, creating a well-balanced whisky with a complex character. The palate offers notes of Manuka honey, sun-dried dates, roasted cashew nuts, dried fruit, sweet spices and cream that linger in the finish.
