This expression showcases an evolution of the brand’s portfolio. A way to educate the consumer as to what is possible when only one variable is changed. Staves to Casks to specialty finishes. Oak is the only factor. Our most recent addition is aged for 8 years in charred new American Oak barrels before it is finalized by the distillers at Clear Creek in their own apple brandy barrels, creating a bridge between our brand and theirs.
TASTE: Oaky and herbal, like barley tea sweetened with manuka honey. Tastes of pipe tobacco and red ale on the mid palate finish in a ghostly bitterness imparted by the barrel’s waning char.
AROMAS: Warm September sweetness on the opening. Reminiscent of pie crust, maraschino cherries, flat cola, and late Summer petrichor.
