This red blend from South Africa is an artfully crafted treat. The original Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon were made separately and blended just prior to bottling. The Cabernet was aged in French oak for 7 months, and the Merlot was aged for 7 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels. The nose has aromas of red fruit layered with berries and a hint a vanilla oak, is full-bodied and well balanced.
