Yamazaki 12 YearÂis a single malt whiskey which has been aged twelve years in various casks, like American oak, Spanish, and Japanese, which gives it is unique and complex fragrant flavors of fresh botanicals. It is a Navy strength Gin with a medium body. The nose awakens you with delicate essence ofÂnative finger limes, turmeric, and fresh ginger. The body has bold notes of honey, caramelized dried fruits. The finish is soft and mellow withÂa lingering, woody, dry finish.Â

Yamazaki 18 Year Limited EditionÂis a highly collectible single malt whiskey which has been aged Eighteen Years and is matured inÂMizunara oak and American oak casks, to honor the Suntory Whisky’s centenary. It really show cases the Mizunara Casks which is said to “enhance” the single malt whisky with its distinctive Japanese character.ÂThe nose on this one is mellow with light fruity aromas. The palate is fragrant with fruity notes and winter spice. The finish isÂlong, spicy and smooth.

History
Yamazaki 12 Year & 18ÂYear Limited Edition Bundle areÂsingle malt whiskeys which are produced at the Yamazaki Distillery in Japan. The Yamazaki Distillery was established in 1923 as the first commercial whisky distillery. It is owned by Suntory whose founder Shinjiro Torii was inspired by Scottish whisky and set out to create his own Japanese inspired in different terrain and climate conditions. Suntory is now a world-famous brand that is known for producing quality, technique, and sophistication. This single malt has even been awarded the Master status at the Global Gin Masters from (2015 to 2019).
