The brand was created by J B Dant, using liquid produced at the J B Dant Distillery. At some point in the 1880s, the Yellowstone distillery began operating and the brand was produced there until the 1990s. The liquid is now produced and aged at Heaven Hill distillery under contract.
Nose: Rye spice with soft leathered cherries.
Palate: Smoked caramel.
Finish: Smoky oak & brown sugar finish.
