The estate brings out three red wines every year (plus two rosés and a white). This is the second wine made from the grapes that come from the oldest plantations. 87% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon made with tank fermentation, then 12 months of barrel ageing.
It has a very dark, concentrated purple colour, black berry fruits, sour cherry, blackcurrant and cedar wood on the nose. The palate is meaty, layered with silky tannins and gentle spiciness, with a medium-length finish.
