The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet les Benoites has a similar bouquet to the nascent Saint-Aubins from Chartron: peach skin and lime flower emerging on the nose, again, just a hint of liquorish. The palate is quite intense on the entry. It has a fine bead of acidity, lightly spice (ginger and lemongrass) with an orange sorbet note towards the sustained finish. Very fine, especially considering that this is not a Premier Cru.
Golden yellow. Crystal clear intense floral fragrances of freshly cut white and yellow flowers. Fresh and intense with a nice fruitiness dominated by peach and apricot.
