Thibaud Boudignon crafts this Chenin Blanc from a single parcel of 40-year-old vines in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay, planted at exceptional density on volcanic rhyolite and grey schist soils. The shallow, mineral-rich terroir produces concentrated fruit that ferments with indigenous yeasts.
Starting with the 2021 vintage, Boudignon extends aging by two years to develop complexity. This approach creates a mouth-filling style with notable structure and grip uncommon in white wines, showcasing Chenin Blanc’s ability to express serious terroir.
