Red ruby color with violet reflections, the 2014 Vino Dei Fratelli Nero D’Avola is filled with aromas of ripe red fruits and blueberries. The fruit forward palate is full and luscious all the way tot the end. It is full-bodied with smooth tannins and well balanced acidity.
Winemaker Notes
The 2014 harvest took place at the end of September and was harvested by hand. The wine was traditionally fermented with the skins remaining in contact with the must for 15 days at temperatures between 75°-78°F (24°-26°C). For added complexity, the wine went through malolactic fermentation following fermentation. The wine is stored in stainless steel vats and sees no oak.

This wine will pair well with grilled meats, vegetable and creamy dishes like risotto.
